EITEL is America’s largest manufacturer of
hydraulic and mechanical straightening presses.
Company History
EITEL Presses Inc. is located in historic Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania where EITEL employees design and manufacture straightening machines. Founded in 1973, the company was built by two partners, Transmares Corporation of Carteret, New Jersey and EITEL KG of Karlsruhe, West Germany. It had been manufacturing hydraulic presses since 1952, but discontinued manufacturing in Germany in 1978, which made EITEL Presses Inc. to start manufacturing its own engineering and manufacturing expertise.
Today, the company has approximately 50 full time personnel. Throughout the year, EITEL continuously invested in the core operation to update its technical abilities of a press. It has continued to adapt to changing technology with its line of PC/ PLC machines. Recently, it has launched newest line of PC controlled machines.
The company aims to implement and maintain an effective and affordable quality management system at all levels of the organization. With Quality Management System, it wants to provide customers with Design, Manufacture, Installation and service of product that will meet customer expectation for performance, price and deliver.
With huge production of straightening presses, EITEL Presses Inc: has become the industry leader. Currently, it is serving a range of industry verticals such as Automotive, Energy, Aerospace, Construction and general Industries.
