History of the LAYHER Ltd.
Founded in 1945, LAYHER began life as a relatively small enterprise and three years later, were manufacturing scaffolding ladders. This German manufacturer started out in Frankfurt and by the early 1950s, had branches in cities such as Nuremberg, Dusseldorf and Hamburg. Tubular steel ladders were a frequent output of this company by 1953 and four years later, LAYHER had stumbled across a revolution as they had begun to produce the world's first rolling towers. In short, they were mobile scaffolds which featured screwless joints, something which entered this industry with immense popularity. LAYHER's dedication to improved safety was obvious by the mid 1960s during the release of the SpeedyScaf. The steel and aluminium frame revolutionised the scaffolding market and because these products were far easier to assemble and dismantle, they were adopted by numerous empires with great enthusiasm. All-round scaffolding was one of the leading products of the 1970s and by the mid 1980, the cassette roof systems were providing incredible amounts of protection against environmental forces and hectic weather conditions. Dozens of other innovative products have been manufactured over the following decades and 2013 saw the release of the LAYHER Ltd.
