MOSA
MOSA is based in Cusago, a suburb of Milan, Italy and has been in the business of producing professional and high quality generating sets and engine driven welders and generating sets since 1963. During this period, MOSA Italy has delivered hundreds of thousands of engine driven welders to satisfied clients around the world.
About MOSA & Its History
MOSA was founded in Cusago in 1963 by the BCS Group, which specializes in manufacturing mowers and tractors. BCS SpA was founded 20 years earlier in a tiny workshop, supplying the needs of local farmers, and found immediate success. The aim with MOSA was to build on the BCS SpA reputation for excellence in the agricultural sector, and to take that ethos into the field of motor-welding equipment, industrial machines, as well as generating sets. Today MOSA Italy is the industrial division of the BCS-Ferrari Group, after further acquisitions by BCS in the 1980s. MOSA products are manufactured in a high-tech environment covering some 75,000sqm. An engineering department develops new ideas and tests new products to make sure that they comply with the latest CE regulations on noise, while still providing sufficient cooling for engines. Production facilities at the plant employ highly qualified personnel dedicated to MOSA aims of ensuring high quality and reliable products. The plant is a full production facility, with sheet metal parts produced in house. Quality control is conducted under rigorous conditions and each machine is bench tested for between one and two hours. Together, the BCS-Ferrari group, which incorporates MOSA, is a trusted, well-established giant in Italian industrial and agricultural machinery.
