SCHUKO is a well-known German family-owned company which specialises in high quality surface, exhaust and filter technology. SHUKO is a leader in its field in Europe and the company says that it prides itself in offering a combination of performance, reliability and a long product life, along with first-class service and the easy availability of spare parts.
The history of SCHUKO
SCHUKO H. Schulte-Südhoff GmbH SHUKO was founded in 1967 as Heinz Schulte-Südhoff Lufttechnik based in the German town of Müschen which is near Bad Laer in Germany, with its first production facility in what was once a hen house. It remains a family concern, owner-managed, specialising as it always has done, in the field of dust extraction and filter technology. Since its founding, the story of the firm is one of continuous growth and innovation. SHUKO says its focus is always on providing changes that are to the benefit of its customers. In 1981 the firm became schuko h. schulte-südhoff gmbh and Company KG, based in Bad Saulgau, and from 1988 to 1992 there were further production halls added in Knetzgau and Bad Saulgau. Industrial SHUKO fans are designed in particular to deal with dust and shavings in the wood and plastics industry. SCHUKO says its filter systems, another speciality, "comply with state-of-the-art technology" and it says "their versatility and efficiency are unbeatable". Dust extractors are designed for small and medium-sized workshops and waste disposal systems are designed to transport, process and press waste for recycling. The company continues to expand with a factory in Trebbin, near Berlin, in Kirchberg, near Koblenz and with the takeover in 2007 of Werner Schulz GmbH based in Quickborn near Hamburg. Expansions of existing production facilities have followed along with the formation of a separate Polish company, SHUKO Polska Sp. z o.o. with a factory in Slésin, Poland.
